Kendall War Memorial was erected by residents of the Kendall and District in memory of those who served in World War One. The memorial is a large stone obelisk on the traditional three stone steps, all surmounted by the figure of an Australian soldier with rifle. The memorial was unveiled on Anzac Day, 1923.
A soldiers' handsome memorial has been unveiled at Kendall by Canon Ritchie. The monument, which stands in a prominent position facing the main street, is of trachyte, with the figure of an infantryman standing to attention carved in white Italian marble. The monument bears the names of eleven men who were killed at the front, and 42 others who enlisted.
