Narrandera Memorial GardensPrint Page
The gardens were originally dedicated to commemorate those who died in servie or were killed in action in World War One. The marble dedication plaque is at the foot of the South African (Boer War) Memorial. The gardens were officially opened on the 11th November 1921 and the memorial tablet was unveiled at this ceremony.
The gardens contain several monuments, erected at different times, to commemorate the sacrifices made in conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
