The pool commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
Fronting the Pacific Ocean, the swimming pool is built into the rocks at the foot of the headland adjacent to the Bonville Creek. The granite inscription plaque is set into the rocks which form the landward side of the pool.
