The Ripon Peace Memorial Hospital commemorates those from the Beaufort who died in service or were killed in action in World Wars One and Two.
The site was originally occupied by the Beaufort Hospital which was established in 1927 as a Bush Nursing Hospital.

This hospital was re-modelled in memory of those citizens of the Beaufort District who gave their lives in the service of their country
1914 - 1918 and 1939 - 1945
Unveiled by the Premier of Victoria the Hon. H. E. Bolte, M.L.A. on 3rd. March, 1961.
