The hall commemorates those who have served in various conflicts in which Australia has been involved. The hall was formerly the Victoria Hall which was built in 1897.
Dookie, Friday. — The local Victoria Hall has been bought for £700, and will be rebuilt to form a soldiers' memorial hall. Plans embrace £2000 renovations, with the aid of a £1000 Government subsidy.
