The Avenue of Honour commemorates those from the District who died in service or were killed in action during World Wars One and Two.
The avenue was originally planted in 1929 with 20 sugar gum trees for those who served in World War One. The avenue is marked by a stone cairn which includes a plaque commemorating those who served in World War Two.
