The hall commemorates those who served in World War One and World War Two.
At a public meeting held recently to discuss raising funds for building a Memorial Hall at Mount Schank, the following committee was elected Messrs.R. Edwards, President; G. Lee, Secretary; H. Hayman, C. Doman, M. McLean, H. Barker, Mesdames A. C. Manser, V. Laslett, H. Barker, G. Lee, Misses B Concannon, N. Carrison, Messrs. H. Hayman, R. Edwards and V. Laslett were re-appointed bank trustee.
