The monument commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

It consists of two Grecian style capped columns set on a stepped concrete base. A wrought iron arch spans the top of the two pillars with a granite boulder in the centre of the columns. It contains honour rolls to those who served in World War One, World War Two and the Vietnam War.

The monument was restored in 2006.
