The monument commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Ausralia has been involved.

It is a stone obelisk on a stone base, surmounted by a stone ball and the area around the monument is paved with brick and bordered by garden beds. A Christian cross is outlined in lighter coloured brick.  At the front is an archway with the words "Lest We Forget."
