This stone was blessed by the Bishop of Darwin 
Most Rev. J. P. O`Loughlin M.S.C.  D.D
   To commemorate
the first Mass celebrated in this church
named in honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
           and
erected to the memory of those fallen in war
22nd October 1972.  Rev. A. A. Corry M.S.C. Pastor.
