A Canberra Bomber A84-219 commemorates the military history of the town which in World War Two was a United States Army base.
It also commemorates the service of the Canberra bomber from 1953 to 1985. They were used in bombing missions in the Vietnam War and were based in Australia, Malaysia and New Guinea.
