El Arish War Memorial commemorates Australian servicemen and women who have paid the supreme sacrifice in all wars and conflicts.

The Chairman of the Johnstone Shire Council (Cr. C. J. Duffin) advises that he has accepted an invitation from the El Arish Cenotaph committee to attend the ceremony of the unveiling of the cenotaph in that town which will be performed by Colonel Cummings (Cairns) at 1.30 pm. next Saturday.
