The monument commemorates Aboriginal men and women of South West Victoria who have served their country since World War One. It is Victoria's first public war memorial to commemorate Aboriginal people.

This memorial is dedicated to all Aboriginal men and women from South West Victoria who served their country proudly along with fellow Australians since World War 1.
We say thanks to those who made the supreme sacrifice.
