Their sacrifice our heritage
This memorial is dedicated to all those men of the Newhan District who have served their country in times of conflict.
It acts as a focal point for the local community to remember and honour the sacrifices made by the few on behalf of the many.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We shall remember them
