Werris Creek Railway Employees Roll of HonourPrint Page 
The wooden honour roll commemorates Werris Creek railway employees who served in World War One. The roll contains 68 names.
Mr. Milne, Deputy Chief Railway Commisioner is at present visiting the north western district. On Sunday he unveiled an honour roll at Werrris Creek containing the names of 168 (sic) railway men who had enlisted from the depot. Mr. Milne congratulated Werris Creek on the patriotism shown, which did credit to the depot and to the district. Messrs. J. M'Carthy, Adamason, and Allen, district superintendent, also complimented the district on its fine effort. The Commissioner proceeded to Moree yesterday.
