Eastgrove Park South Memorial GatesPrint Page
The Memorial Gates commemorate those from the district who lost their lives in World War Two.
Eastgrove Memorial Park will be the official name by which an area reserved for recreation in that suburb will be known in future. Writing to Thursday night's meeting of the City Council, the management committee of the East Goulburn Park said it had been decided to recommend that the area be called the Eastgrove Memorial Park. Moving that the recommendation be approved, Ald. L. Martin said the committee was hoping to erect memorial gates for the park.
