Kokoda Track Memorial WalkwayPrint Page 
The 1000 steps Kokoda Track Memorial Walk was developed by the Victorian National Parks, and those who had fought on the Kokoda Track. A series of 14 memorial plaques and installed them at various locations along the walk to commemorate the actions of Australian forces in New Guinea during World War Two.
There are a number of plaques along the track which describe events from the Kokoda campaign and the topography. Plaques also commemorate the Australian infantry battalions that fought along the Kokoda Track.
