Walers Rest commemorates the horses, donkeys and camels who have supported Australia in the Sudan, the South African (Boer) War, World War One and World War Two. The area consists of an animal drinking trough, information sign and bridle.

Dedicated to the thousands of horses, donkeys and camels who have supported Australian forces in the Sudan, the Boer War, World War One and World War Two.
They suffered wounds, thirst, hunger and weariness almost beyond endurance but never failed, they did not come home and we will never forget them.
