Front Inscription
This fountain was designed by the Melbourne sculptor Norma Redpath and cast in Milan by Battaglia & Co
The sculpture was completed in 1969
Plaque :
This plaque was unveiled on 24 September 2002 by the Hon. Wilson Tuckey M.P. Minister for Regional Services, Territories and Local Government to commemorate the re-commissioning of the Treasury Fountain.
Restoration of this fountain was managed by the National Capital Authority on behalf of the Commonwealth of Australia.
