1898 - 1998

Underneath this plaque is a steel capsule which was buried to mark the centenary of the Campbelltown Show Society
formed on 10th December 1898.

Buried on 10th December 1998, in the presence of 
the Mayor of Campbelltown, Cr Paul Sinclair,
former President, Campbelltown City Show Society
1980 to 1998, John Leary and President,
Federal Council of Agricultural Societies, Geoff Mayo.

The capsule contains messages and memorabilia related to the show society.
