This plaque signifies the Town of Camperdown`s gratitude for the generous donation by the `Edward Manifold Memorial Trust` toward the installation of an automatic watering system for the Camperdown Botanic Gardens.

The watering system was officially commissioned by His Worship, the Mayor, Cr. Ian Judd on Thursday 19th December 1991
