The plaque commemorates the 80th Anniversary of the West Tamworth Sports & Bowling Club.

Tamworth, Saturday.
A petition has been circulated around Tamworth, and has received much support, for a public meeting to consider the formation of a bowling club at West Tamworth. The meeting will be held next Tuesday, August 14.  In connection with the formation of a new dlstrict bowling association comprising Glen Innes, Armldale, Inverell and Tenterfield, a special general meeting has been set down for Saturday, August 18, at Tamworth Bowling Club.
