Gladstone Tondoon Botanic Gardens
Centenarians Tribute Project
The project was the initiative of the Gladstone Branch of National Seniors Australia, in partnership with Tondoon Botanic Gardens and the Gladstone Regional Council.
In the year 2000, NSA Gladstone Branch proposed that they provide a plaque and the GRC would plant a tree in this section of the gardens, to honour every citizen residing in the Gladstone Region upon reaching 100 years of age, for their contribution to the Gladstone Region.
