The walkway commemorates the achievements of pioneers, civic leaders and outstanding members of the Goldfields community from pre-Federation to the present day. It features a series of commemoration plaques laid in the footpath on both sides of Burt Street.
Completed in February 2001, ‘The Boulder Centenary of Federation Walk’, was part of a project known as ‘WA 2001 Community Centenary Project’, and was funded by State Government grants.
