This plaque was unveiled by His Worship the Mayor, Councillor Tom Johnston, J.P.
To commemorate the official opening of this, the Chelsea Hospital Nursing Home on 12th December 1981 by Mr. W. J.Hay, President.
Grateful acknowledgment is made to Leslie Fielding Payne O.B.E., J.P. for his 30 years of dedicated services as Honorary President.
