The 1953 Australian Coronation Contingent
To commemorate the Men and Women of the Australian Defence Force selected to represent Australia at the Coronation of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth the Second, in London on 2nd June 1953.
During their Tour of Duty (February - August) members also performed ceremonial duties at Buckingham Palace, Colombo,
Tobruk War Cemetery, Malta, Gibraltar, Spithead Naval Review, Nova Scotia, Baltimore USA, Jamaica, Hawaii and Auckland.
Dedicated by the surviving members of the contingent, 28th April 2006
