City of Payneham
The identification tower was erected by the Payneham Council on the occasion of the sesquicentenary of the State of South Australia.
The plaque was unveiled and the Australian Flag first raised here by the Mayor of Payneham, L. A. Fioravanti Esq, J. P. on 23rd August, 1986.
