Braund Memorial Honour RollPrint Page 
The honour roll commemorates the representatives who have served Armidale in the New South Wales (Colonial or State) Parliament since responsible government was introduced in 1856.
It is named after Lieutenant-Colonel George Frederick Braund, MLA, the Liberal Member for Armidale from 1913 until he was killed at Gallipoli on May 4, 1915. He was the first Australian Member of Parliament to enlist in World War One, and the second Member to die in it.
