Bicentennial BeaconPrint Page 
A monument marks the site of the beacon lit by the Rollingstone community to commemorate 200 years celebration of the European settlement of Australia in 1988. The Bicentennial Beacons were a series of bonfires lit around Australia.
It is a moulded poured concrete cairn surmounted by a painted sculptured copper flame. A copper plaque is attached (donated by Copper Refineries)

This cairn was erected by the Lions Club of Rollingstone
To mark the site of the fire built by the Rollingstone community to commemorate the Australia's Birthday Beacons Ring of Fires around Australia on the night of 18th - 19th June 1988.
This fire was scheduled for 4.25 am. 19. 6. 988
