Front Inscription

This monument depicting mans achievement since early settlement of this area, was designed by Mr Ted Pangilinan and hewn from Helidon stone by Mr Tom Farrell It is one of three heritage links telling the history of Bribie Island.  

The others are situated at Banksia Beach foreshore and near the Community Arts Centre.

The work was funded by the Australian Bicentennial Authority Federal Heritage Programme, the Caboolture Shire Council and the Bribie Island Bicentennial Community Committee
