Front Inscription
This plaque of a rock (which depicts an island separated from the seat of civilisation - hence the wall for sitting on) is a memorial to all the pioneers and early settlers of Kangaroo Island who died prior to 1980 without having loved ones with the means to have a gravestone erected to the memories.
