A brief history

[ List of historical events ]

This basalt rock was unearthed from The Narrows Road during construction of the Barcoo Pocket Dam in 1986, and the plaque unveiled by Senator Lady Bjelke-Peterson, 3rd May, 1987, to commemorate 100 years of settlement.
