This plaque commemorates those soldiers who received allotments in Hindson`s Estate through the World War 2 Soldier Settlement Scheme. Hindson`s Estate consisted of 3,597, subdivided into 25 allotments. We recognise the valuable contribution of these men and their families in the establishment of this settlement.
