Kongwak Centenary & Pioneers of the DistrictPrint Page 
The monument was erected to commemorate the pioneers of the District and Kongwak's centennial year.
The R. N. Scott Memorial Park is named in memory of Richard Nutter Scott who with his brother Frederick originally cleared the land.
