Pioneers Memorial HallPrint Page
The hall commemorates the pioneers of Postmans Ridge.
On July 20, 1863 Daniel Connole sailed into Moreton Bay aboard the "Rockliff" to begin his new life in Australia. The land on which the Pioneers Memorial Hall stands was part of Daniel's original grant and was sold (given) to the local community for a peppercorn price.
