The bicentennial plaque commemorates landscape architect Elizabeth Gilfillan for her work in the design and construction of the Queen Elizabeth Rotunda and Gardens Bicentennial Project.
The pick paving and rose garden path were added to the Rotunda in 1988 and opened by Elizabeth Gilfillan. The Queen Elizabeth Rotunda was erected in 1985 to commemorate Victoria`s Sesquicentenary.
