"Lags' Ledge", is a special garden dedicated to Tatura Football Club stalwart and long-time volunteer Vince ‘Lags’ Londrigan. The memorial garden had been a community effort not only by the football club, but also people who knew ‘Lags’.
The garden was completed at the site where ‘Lags’ used to sit and enjoy a smoke, by volunteers and friends, with the assistance of local businesses including Peter Kennedy Landscaping, Viberts Mitre 10 and Jonesy’s Bobcats. Kevin ‘Gunna’ Ryan and Denis Flett also contributed with flowers.
Organiser of the memorial, Kerry Madill, said a memorial plaque would be placed on the tree in the garden honouring ‘Lags’ and another long-time club volunteer Arthur Pratt.
