Eastwood Beach
This beach was named in acknowledgement of the efforts of Rotarian Les Eastwood who recognised the possibility of establishing a beach on this site in the late 1970`s.
Feasability trial conducted by Les confirmed the practicality of the project.
Les`s vision inspired the Rotary Club of Wynnum and Manly to proceed with the development of this community ammenity in 1981 - 1982.
