Maurice PilgrimPrint Page
The pathway commemorates Maurice Pilgrim for his work for the Bordertown community.
Maurice used to work at Tatiara Handy Help, before retiring at age 60. After leaving the shop, he had more time to collect cans and bottles throughout the day. Each day Maurice would walk along the path and often residents would leave cans out for him collect.
Maurice was the recipient of an award from the Bordertown on the Move Committee in 2016 for his outstanding community contribution over many years in cleaning up Bordertown.
