Plaque :
Valerie Sweet Pathway
Valerie believed that getting close to nature was "therapy for the soul" and that everyone should have the opportunity of experiencing it. She envisioned a pathway that would be accessible to all but unfortunately did not live to see the fruition of that dream.
Dedicated to the memory of Valerie, ( 26. 06. 1935 - 7. 03. 2003) this pathway is the result of the combined efforts of the Esme Street Regeneration Group, Beaudesert Shire Council and Tamborine Mountain Progress Association with funding from Gambling Community Benefit Fund.
