Toni BeattiePrint Page
The plaque commemorates Toni Beattie who was a member of the 'Friends of O`Halloran Hill Recreation Park'.
Friends of O’Halloran Hill regenerates land that was once completely cleared for grazing. The area had formerly been used as agricultural land for over 90 years, but today is a safe haven for grey box eucalypts and river red gums.
The group has volunteered at the site since 2000, and is focusing on removing feral olive trees and artichoke plants. They usually work on Tuesdays and Saturday mornings, weather permitting.
