Front Inscription
In memory of Clara Beatrice Edis (1892 – 1964) who sold the land which is now Edis Park to Kyabram Council for a token sum on condition that a park should be established for the benefit of future generations.
Clara loved Australia`s diverse and in many cases unique collection of trees and birds and this land was sold on condition that for every tree which fell down or was cut down a similar species be planted.
Her generous act has given pleasure to countless walkers and dog lovers.
