This plaque was officially unveiled by His Worship the Mayor of Payneham, L. A. Fioravanti Esq. on the 22nd March, 1986.

It is in memory of Fred Norman Drage (1889 - 1961) who was Chairman and then Mayor of the Payneham Council from 1944 until 1950.
