The plaque commemorates Michael McCormack who established and maintained the gardens of the Mount Cotton Training Centre throughout his 15 years of service. 

Note: Mount Cotton Training Centre is now the RACQ Mobility Centre of Excellence.

A tribute to Michael McCormack
(Mick Mac)

Mick was a memorable character who was one of the cornerstones of Mt Cotton Training Centre

Throughout his fifteen years of service (1987 - 2003), he meticulously established and maintained the gardens we enjoy today.  Mick`s sincere nature touched many people.
