Jack PizzeyPrint Page 
The clock commemorates politician Jack Pizzey (1911 - 1968) and originally was located at 63 Churchill Street. The clock was removed for the development of Millenium Park and is now located at the Historical Complex in Taylor Street.
It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 August 1992 but was removed from the register in June 2015 after it was reconstructed at the Childers Historical Complex.
Jack Charles Allan Pizzey was a Queensland Country Party politician. He was Premier of Queensland, in a coalition with the Liberal Party, from 17 January 1968 until his death on 31 July that year. Pizzey was born in Childers.
