The park commemorates Dr Rudi Levy, the first medical doctor on the Gold Coast for his contribution to the community for over 50 years.
Dr Levy escaped Hitler's rule in the 1930s, via Italy under Mussolini and then proceeded to England before settling in Australia. He founded the Blue Nursing for aged people and the orchestral movement on the Gold Coast.
