The plaque commemorates Flying Officer Victor Treloar of the Royal Australian Air Force (R.A.A.F.) who was killed in action over Indonesia during World War Two.
He was a crew member of No. 2 Squadron Hudson A16-172, which was shot down by anti-aircraft fire while on a raid to Tamin-bar Island on 14 September 1942.
