The foundation stone commemorates Mr and Mrs T. Morgan, pioneers of the church, for their devotion and sacrifice.
The foundation stone of a new two storey Sunday school and extensions to the Hurstville Baptist Church was unveiled on Saturday afternoon by Rev W L Jarvis president of the New South Wales Baptist Union. A stone in memory of the late Mr and Mrs T Morgan, pioneers of the church, was unveiled by the church pastor, the Rev R M Leghorn.
