The brass ewer commemorates Fanny Kathleen Bushman (1868-1942). The ewer was previously located in St Paul`s, Launceston.
Fanny Bushman was born in 1868, daughter of John G. Bushman of the 21st Hussars and Clara Cox Bushman.
The family lived in St. John Street, Launceston and attended both St. John's Church and St. Paul's. At the latter, Fanny spent many years of her short life as a Sunday School teacher. She never married and died on 18th May, 1910 aged 42 years.
In her memory at St. Paul's the Sunday School purchased a brass ewer for use at the baptismal font.
