The stained glass window commemorates the Reverend Walter Jones who was the Minister of the Cowan Street Congregational Church from August 1882 to December 1901. Reverend Jones died in 1907. 

The window was relocated from the Cowan Street Congregational Church.

These windows have been placed here from  Cowan St. Congregational Church as a reminder of the witness and service 
by the people of the Congregational and Presbyterian Churches in the Gawler area.
